2nd Annual Jack Robertson Invitational Benefits Heritage Fund and Red Cross

This year’s Jack Robertson Invitational Shoot surpassed last year’s total by raising over $12,000 for the Heritage Fund’s legal and communications programs, and raised an additional $2,255 for the American Red Cross’ Disaster Relief Fund. The 73 shooters at last Friday’s event bid on special auction items such as a Tactical Patrol Bike donated by Smith & Wesson and a special package for two for next spring’s Irlene Mandrell Celebrity Shoot in Markham Park. Many items purchased or won during the event were re-donated for the Red Cross auction. "This type of support for the shooting sports and the Red Cross relief effort epitomizes the very spirit of the Heritage Fund and its supporters," said Chris Dolnack, director of development, National Shooting Sports Foundation.
