| | Chicago Media Turning Out for Nov. 2 Media Education Seminar Reporters from the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, a national affiliate TV station, a national chain of sports weeklies, Outside magazine and the British Broadcasting Corporation have accepted invitations to attend an NSSF Media Education Seminar this Friday, Nov. 2, at the G.A.T. Indoor Gun Range in Dundee, Illinois. (This seminar was originally scheduled for Sept. 15 but was postponed because of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11.) The NSSF media seminar series is designed to provide influential media in major markets with hands-on instruction from national champion shooters with the goal of creating a better understanding of the firearms industry, its products and the responsible people who use firearms. U.S. Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) champion Matt Burkett, five-time cowboy shooting world champion Richard Young and newly crowned USPSA national champion Lisa Munson will provide instruction at the Nov. 2 seminar, along with Chris Edwards, director of law enforcement training at Glock, and Walt Rauch, co-founder of the USPSA.
