i have a started chocolate lab that is 3 1/2 year old D.O.B. 1-4-11. HIs name is Red the story behind him is that he started life in going to be a military I.E.D dog and almost made it but they only needed 10 dogs out of 25 and he didn't make it. So the guy that trained him bought him from them and turned him into a gun dog and then i ran into this guy and was looking for a trained gun dog for when i go duck hunting. so i got him back home and worked with him until duck season started and then we hunted all last season starting in North Dakota mid Oct and ending in Arkansas end of Jan. Red did great did more then i thought he could or would I'm no dog trainer but thats what i thought. well I'm having to sale him do to new addition to my family lil girl and a wife thats says i got to call it quits until my lil girl is old enough to go with me so that could be a while and dont want to see a very good gun dog go to waste. i haven't worked him in a while just been to busy but is gun dog training consist of collar condition , triples on land and water , blinds out to about 60 yards or so , steady to shot , and basic obedience with voice and whistle. also from time to time i see Red sniffing for i.e.d.s mainly when we are on or near roads and levees but hey i look on bright side ill always be safe from i.e.d.s when going to duck blind. It sucks that i have to part with him but i want him to be happy and hunt and i just can't anymore for a few years so here he is i have few pics i can txt or email getting short vids in a few days. Red is not all intact he's fixed so just need to find him a good hunting home and family. Asking price is $2,500.00 O.B.O. to good home thanks and God Bless
