Chess is a great young dog. He is great with kids and other dogs. He is not an excessive barker, doesn’t climb or chew out of crates or kennels. He loves to retrieve, has a great drive.

TRAINING:
To this point he has gone through some basics. Sit, Come, Leash and Crate Trained. He has also been taught not to jump and has good manners. Chess will also stay steady at your side on a sit command when in training and will retrieve the bird on command.

He rides well in a truck or car (crated) and is crate trained. Chess retrieves singles on land and water, has been worked heavily with ducks and pheasants. He has been shot over with a shotgun in field and in the duck blind.

THIS DOG CAN HUNT!
Chester got his first chance last weekend to retrieve some shot ducks (Duck Opener). He brought back a Wood Duck and Teal perfectly.

He is not a high energy dog, very controllable and has a great desire to please.
FOR THE MONEY, Chester is a fantastic prospect for a hunting/companion home.
