Zeke is AKC and FDSB registered. DOB 1-6-08. Lemon, Pointer, Male. He is out of FC AFC Just Big (4xCH Just Wait x Cuivre River Daisy) x Saw’s Phantom Pebble (Elhew Phantom x Bo’Darc Daisy Mae).

Zeke has primarily been run in dual registered AKC and AF horseback handling trials. He is broke to wing and shot. Handles and listens well. Points beautifully, retrieves naturally, and backs naturally. I never taught this dog to back or retrieve he just does it on his own. He will carefully relocate with a tap on the head. Dog is collar conditioned, will jump into the bed of the truck on his own to “kennel up.” This is a flashy male and proven bird finder. Has been hunting on the eastern plains of Colorado. Hunted, quail, pheasant, and chukar.

Has 3 points toward his FC. Has a 1 point puppy win. And a 2 point derby win. Zeke’s derby points came off a broke race. He had 3 finds, all of which were broke, with his brace mate ripping the birds out in front of him. This race was before he was 2 years old. This dog has been broke to wing and shot since he was 20 months old. Zeke has been running in horseback handling trials this spring season. I’ve been running him in Open and Amateur Gun/Shooting Dog Stakes. The weekend of May 15, I entered him in a walking trial. He had 2 gorgeous finds and a stop to flush. He got a Third in the Walking Open Gun Dog. The dog has two AF registered derby wins.

This dog will make an excellent, NSTRA dog, hunt test dog, guide dog, personal hunting dog, and field trial prospect. He is qualified to run in the 2010 American Pointer Club Nationals, and the 2011 AKC Gun Dog Championships.
