Spot is an "all business" female. She is one the hardest driving pointing labs I've ever seen. She is one of the few labs I have seen that points with a 12 o'clock tail instead of one of those lame, limpy lab tails. Spot has been used in our guide operation for 2 years now and has seen unknown numbers of pheasants. Spot is a "Pointer Man's" lab. I'm a hard core dog man at heart. I don't like any of the fufu breeds (not that I think labs are a fufu breed, most of them just aren't as tough as Pointers). Spot is one of only a very few labs that I would even think about owning (which is why I don't have very many of them). It takes looking at a ton of them to find ones tough enough to make me happy with them. I've hunted Spot in 10 below weather with 20 mile an hour winds and never had a complaint from her. She gives me 110% all day long and never tires out. If I didn't know better, I'd swear she was half pointer.
