Looking to sell our 20 month old yellow male. He has prelim hip and elbow xrays from our Western Vet College with Normal results. Vet said so far hips are excellent conformation. Current CERF normal(last done in August) and is CNM clear. Has his Junior Hunter and Working Certificate titles. Basic obedience, fairly steady, doing single retrieves only. Has not been trained to handle. He is a big boy weighing 85lb. The reason we are selling is because he is not a great swimmer. He splashes himself in the face on the way to the bird as he is so excited and tries to get there too fast. We have done a bit of work with his swimming and he has shown improvement, but we don't have the climate here or the time to spend a lot of time working on it. He levels out once he gets the bird, most times.He has excellent marking ability and was marking at about 225 yards on land this summer. He is not a soft dog and can handle correction. He has basic FF and CC done but has not been forced to pile. Has excellent pedigree. Father is GMHRCH Deep Run Desperado MH and mother is MHR-WR Deep Run Charisma SH.
