Description:

Bandit is an 8 month old GWP already well along on his training and has started hunting. I've worked a lot with him on pigeons, and he is holding his point. He has been working in the field, hunting released pheasants and wild Nebraska prairie chickens and grouse. He is a great gamefinder. He is a close working dog, needing very little instruction in the field. Obeys hand signals and checks in often. We had no problems getting in range of the wary prairie chickens.
He reliably finds injured birds and retrieves.
Bandit travels well, and is quiet and content in his kennel in the car, and in the hotel. Gets along well with other dogs.
If you are in the Denver/Colorado Springs area, before you buy him spend an afternoon shooting birds over him at Rocky Mountain Roosters. I'll treat you to 1/2 day hunt at RMR if we close a deal. In southwest Nebraska we could spend a few hours chasing pheasant or grouse. (North Platte area).
