Description:

Laney was whelped 07/04/07. She is a very well bred liver and white German Shorthair female. She is four years old as of July of 2011, and has developed into a nice hunting dog. Laney has a great nose and desire to hunt and find game. To put it simply, she is a bird finder. She is staunch and steady on point, and hunts very hard. Laney holds her birds to flush, is collar conditioned, and has been force broke to retrieve. She would be a nice addition for any foot hunter hunting at a medium range most times, but will range out further if given the opportunity.

Laney has been hunted extensively on wild quail and pheasant throughout Oklahoma and Kansas, averaging 150 to 200 wild birds shot over her each year. Laney has been broke on wild and liberated quail, so she handles released birds such as on a preserve very well. She has become a nice bird dog and would be ideal for any foot hunter or guide service.

Laney is the daughter of 4x NSTRA Ch Rockin' G's Uodibar Rusty and our own Rockin' G's Pepper. Both parents have many Champion dogs in their five generation pedigree and Hall of Fame dogs including Dixieland Rusty, Uodibar's Koonas, Quailrun's Roxy Roller, Rawhide's Clown, & Jig's White Smoke. (Rusty with 25 Champions and 5 Hall of Fame dogs, and Pepper with 22 Champions and 4 Hall of Fame dogs).
