Puddin' is a good hunter and family dog. She stands steady to wing and releases on the shot. Puddin' will back as far as she can see. She does a nice job on singles and is a solid natural retriever. She has hunted wild pheasant, sharptails, huns, blue quail, and bobwhite quail. Puddin' has been hunted on foot, off of a Polaris Ranger, vehicles, and horseback. She has been used as a guide dog on our commercial wild bird hunts since she was a year old. We consider her a short to medium ranging dog. She is easy to handle, both in the field and home.

If you are looking for a great overall bird dog and a family pet, Puddin is worth considering. She has a friendly, lovable personality and has great manners in the house. She will not get up on furniture, unless invited, but she does love attention! She also has experience with an invisible fence system and does well.
