Blue is an experienced hunter with hundreds of field retrieves under her belt. Her obedience and manners in the field are top notch. Her marking ability is excellent to at least 300 ft. (that is as long as my launcher will throw). She will do doubles that long, too. I have started her to take a line and she will "fetch" on command. She has also been taught the fundamentals of handling.
She has a great temperment and grew up around my 4 yr old son, so she is excellent around children. She does not jump up or chew. She has never been in the house, but I believe she could be easily housebroken.
When she was seven months old she was run over by a friend of mine in his yard and it dislocated and broke her right hip. Academy Animal Hospital in Laurinburg NC did a hip replacement procedure and she has made a wonderful recovery. Unless she runs all day, literally, she doesnt even favor it. Since I knew I couldnt have her hips certified, I had her spayed. She would make a wonderful addition to any hunting family. Please call Brad at 843-319-8614, 493-0388, or 394-2113.
