Sharp Shooter / vom Ritter-Hof Bloodlines
(Master hunters, V Champs, JH and awesome hunting dogs)

I have personally owned, breed, trained, and hunted over GSP’s for over a decade. Prior to that my grandfather breed, trained, and hunted over English Setters, I learned from him and improved upon his methods. As he got older and got away from breeding and training he gave me his kennel name and I use it today, vom Ritter-Hof

This is a Rare opportunity to gain a top tier pup as I feel i am blending two great bloodlines with like temperaments to produce one single puppy for myself and a new block in the foundation of my Kennel.

My pups will be lightly stressed with noise, lightly pinched on there ears, and there feet, picked up, mouths opened and wormed by the end of two weeks.

week 3- pups eyes will be open and will be allowed outside on nice days to play and explore, they will play inside on my little puppy obstacle course, nails will be trimmed for the first time, light stressing of the senses will continue until ready to go home to there new family’s.

week 4- pups will be introduced to playing and socializing with my children (ages 7 and 11) inside and out this will continue until they are ready to go to there new homes.

week 5 - 8 pups will begin to be weened from there mother, in addition to previous continual conditioning, pups will be taken on car rides and be exposed to multiple guests (friends, family, and neighbors) (and other dogs based upon vet records). In addition i do work with each dog individually, we “play” at retrieving, scenting, and other tests I do a prey drive assessment on each one also.
At this age a puppy can do no wrong and there is never any regime. I track there temperament so i am better able to assist you in choosing a pup and will get to know each one like they are my own children.

Tails and dewclaws will be docked/removed at day 4. Dewclaws are referred to as thumbs, yet dogs do not have/use thumbs as humans do, dewclaws are designed for ripping and tearing at things including furniture, friends, family other pets, the neighbors kids, and the mail man. In hunting situations dewclaws get caught in briars, weeds, fencing and other things they find wile hunting this usually ends up with the dewclaw being ripped open or off, its better to have them removed. Dewclaws are a great thing for wild dogs to have just not for a dog in our home.

Pups will be wormed at week 4, 6, and 8 weeks.

Pups will have shots at week 8, and at week 11, if still in my possession.

Aspen in a calm and well behaved girl she listens and is very intelligent, a great hunter and beautiful. Ace is the same way and both love the water, I think Ace is even smarter than Aspen. Taking that into account and the old saying my grandfather told me “ Great dogs make Great puppies” this litter will be producing some stellar Puppies.
