We are very excited about this litter and expect the pups to be outstanding gundogs, both in the home and in the field. They will be intelligent, trainable and personable, paired with lots of drive and desire. They will be talented field dogs and loving companions. We breed our dogs for health, performance and temperament.

Pups are vet checked, up to date on vaccinations and will come with a 26 month health guarantee. Pups will be ready to go home on January 23rd, 2013.

Colt is a 2-year old Black Labrador Retriever, EIC clear by parentage. Colt is tri-factored, carrying all three color genes (black, yellow and chocolate). His pedigree consists of several accomplished AKC Hunt Test and Field Trial dogs. A few are FC Nan-Dool's Elwood Blues, 2xNAFC/2xCNAFC/FC Ebonstar Lean Mac, CNFC/CNAFC Waldorf's High Tech and NFC/NAFC Candlewood's Super Tanker, FC/AFC Rebel with a Cause, FC/AFC Super Pick X FC/AFC Ms. Chief.

What sets Colt apart is the exceptional breeding behind him. Not only does he posses the drive, desire, persistence and athleticism to be successful in the field, but his temperament is ideal to train. He is incredibly intelligent with a big motor to boot, making him a dog that handles pressure nicely, and never gets discouraged. He is currently finishing his Senior AKC title, then moving on to Master. He earned his Advanced Upland Title with the Upland Gundog Association this past spring 2012.

Colt is obedience trained, force fetched, collar conditioned, runs multiple marks (up to 250-300 yards), and runs nice blind retrieves (land, water, multiples). He has hunted all over the Midwest and retrieved several hundred birds. Colt is an outstanding house dog as well, and is part of the family. We expect his puppies to be great looking, stylish in the field, and easy to train as both hunting dogs and family companions.

Willow is a 50 pound EIC and CNM Clear Black female (chocolate factored). She has a tremendous amount of drive and desire and performs with great enthusiasm. Her lines include accomplished dogs such as Hawkeyes Nick Adams QAA, FC AFC High Tec CEO, 2X NAFC FC AFC Ebonstar Lean Mac, FC NAFC Hattie McBunn, NFC AFC Storms Riptide Star and NFC NAFC Candlewoods Super Tanker, FC AFC Webshire's Honest Abe (her litter was the last natural tie with Abe - who sired 37 Field Champions), FC AFC Wilderness Harley to Go, FC AFC Itchin' to Go, AFC Black Gold's Candlewood Kate.

This young female is doing very well in her training and is preparing to run hunt test in 2013. She is running long marks, does excellent in the water and shows a ton of promise. She is almost through force fetching, remote sit and hand casting. Willow is out of the Hawkeye lines which are known for great running style, excellent marking, trainability and overall performance in the field. These lines have produced several Field Champions time and time again.
