Repeat breeding of proven parents. Both parents are gentle and loving with our children and adore attention from people. Parents selected for foot hunting, so they work closer in thick cover, and only range out 500-600 yards if handler is in sight. You will be hard pressed to find dogs with more natural upland instinct. These dogs live for the hunt, they are high energy & driven in the field, and will go until you make them stop. However, they have an off switch and are calmer in the house, plus smaller than standard setters so they make excellent, loyal, companions and family dogs as well. Pedigrees go back to Kings Kennel, and "Hank" from the popular TV series "Hunting with Hank" is in the Dam's pedigree.
