We have black and chocolate girls! Whelped December 10th,
ready to go home early February, Portia had mostly girls and
just one male, so we have some females available. The sire is
my Handsome Ransom. Rainmaker’s Working Class Payday,
MH/QAA (FC Merlyn x Working Class Zoe of Zanzibar, MH/QAA).
Multiple titled siblings including lots of Derby points, AA
points, QAA, one sister is the dam of this year’s National Derby
Champion. Ransom is a 90 lb loverboy, very talented marker,
excellent pedigree, exceptional temperament, genetically
clear of EIC, CNM, PRA, RD/OSD, SD2, CMS and Dilute. OFA
hips good, elbows normal, eyes normal, PennHip in the
highest percentile. Everybody who meets Ransom, loves
Ransom!
The dam is John Ketzner’s Hunterbest Importo Drakehaven,
JH “Portia” and I am raising the litter here at Rainmaker. Portia
is a bigger girl, beautiful head, nice coat, she has her JH and
is a fully trained, handling dog who hunts hard. Biddable,
excellent temperament. Portia’s sire is John’s Senaquin’s
Windwalker, QAA, a Barracuda Blue son, NFC Rascal
grandson. Walker was big, talented, AA points in both US and
Canada and went to the 8th and 9th series in multiple
Canadian National/Amateur Nationals during his competitive
career. Portia’s dam is GMH Huntersbest Living the Dream,
MH, WCX, QAA. Portia is OFA hips excellent, elbows normal,
eyes normal, and genetically clear on the Pawprints Essential
Panel.
Ransom and Portia are both black, carrying chocolate. Bigger,
good looking dogs with excellent temperaments and talented
performance pedigrees, width and depth. Looking for a classy
birddog or performance prospect, that can also get along in
the house and hang with the family, this litter should fit the
bill. Puppies are raised in my home with all the Rainmaker
bells & whistles, microchipped, vaccinated, vet-checked,
regular deworming schedule, tons of attention and
stimulation, complete puppy packet and experienced breeder
support.

$1200 with $300 deposit to hold until puppies are ready to go
