Scratch is owned, handled, and trained by Steve Earick. Scratch is a black male offering an outstanding pedigree and proven performance. Scratch's Sire is 2011 NAFC AFC Cody Cut A Lean Grade "Grady" and Dam is GRHRCH UH Hardy Lake Wake MH "Wake". Wake is in the current top 10 producing females in HRC. Scratch just passed his 4th Grand this spring and is also hunted extensively during waterfowl and upland seasons. Ellie, a black female, is out of a breeding between 4xGRHRCH Lady Diana's Tess of Ballwin MH (4 Grand passes and has 740 points) and 3xGRHRCH UH Hunters Marsh Happy Hooch MH (3 Grand passes and 1000 point club) who was owned by Roger Fields. Tess passed her last 3 Grands in a row when the pass rate was between 11-16%. Out of Ellie's 9 other littermates, six went to HRC Homes. Five are HRCH dogs, and two have also competed at the Grand level, making it to the 4th series three times amongst them. Ellie passed her first Grand at 26 months old and currently has 655 points. She was able to accomplish all of this while having 2 litters of puppies. This will be her 3rd and final litter.
Ellie has produced great puppies in her previous litters. The first litter produced 4 puppies due to a poor semen sample from GRHRCH Maple Creeks Calumet Coyote MH. 3 out of 4 of those puppies are hunt test, hunting, and family dogs. The other is a hunting and family dog. I have received very good feedback from all those owners. The 3 competing in hunt tests are doing very well. One received her HRCH before the age of 2 and just ran her first Grand making it to the 3rd series. The other two are HR titled who are currently running finished tests. One of those puppies has a UH title as well. They are also hunted extensively. 2 out of the first litter will be running Master tests this summer. Ellie's most recent litter with GRHRCH Magnolias Hammerin Hank MNH7 are currently 14 months old.
There were 9 in that litter, 6 out of the 9 are being campaigned in hunt tests, and 2 of them HR, 4 are SR, and one of the HR dogs got its FIRST finished pass in May at 14 months old.
The previous litters produced very good demeanored puppies with very good traits.
Ellie is a great house dog with the on/off switch most people are looking for; she enjoys retrieving as much as spending time snuggling on the couch or sitting in your lap. She runs great lines on her marks and blinds with style, which makes her a joy to watch and handle. Ellie always gives maximum effort and has a strong desire to please. Ellie is 64 lbs.
The litter will produce black puppies only and the approximate due date for the litter is May 21st. The puppies will be dewormed at 2,4, and 6 weeks. Declan's removed. 1st round of shots included, and will have a 26 month health guarantee. Deposits are currently being taken to reserve spots in the picking order.
