Outstanding litter of German Shorthaired Pointers due March 16, 2011. This is a repeat breeding (K Litter) as these puppies were absolutely phenomenal. They are superior natural hunting dogs and several were in the fields successfully hunting wild birds in their first season...all before they were even 6 months old.
This is not surprising as their breeding could produce nothing less.
Both parents are proven hunting and NAVHDA dogs. Both parents are Versatile Champions and International show champions. The sire, VC Sharp Shooter's Let 'er Rip, was owner trained and handled to his VC. He is extensively hunted in North Dakota, Kansas and Colorado. Rip is a big, leggy Shorthair that will be the last dog still running on a week long hunting trip. He is a brush busting, hard hunting, never quit dog who is a joy to have in the house the rest of the year as he is a gentle, quiet dog that never has a bad day. He is out of a long line of successful NAVHDA dogs that are hardy, trainable, high drive and cooperative. The dam, VC Outlanders Frappucino is a stunning average sized shorthair female. She too was owner trained and handled to her VC. Flicker was a joy to train and breezed right through all of her titles in NAVHDA. She is out of some of the original NAVHDA lines as her grandmother was GSP49. She earned her VC just 12 weeks after whelping a litter of 11 puppies. Flicker is also extensively hunted in several states. She is the dog that will never quit on a wounded bird and I have had to get in my truck to go get her on a long track. Though she is used to the vast prairies of Montana and Kansas, she closes up her distance and hunts very well in the grouse woods of Wisconsin for Ruffed and Colorado for Blues and Ptarmigan. Flicker has also hunted racoons for me very successfully. She too is a couch potato most of the year, wonderful with kids and dogs, yet all business in the fields and marsh. She too comes from long lines of hardy, high drive dogs that can prove this through their working titles. Her mother is the great bitch, VC Outlanders Espresson, MH and her sire VC Enzo vom Ludwigstein, MH (German Import).
