I have 2 very nice black lab female pups that were whelped on November 20, 2004.

Sire: FC-AFC Jaybars Westshore Beau, OFA LR-112442E26M-PI (FC-AFC Webshire's Honest Abe X Westwinds Kirby). Beau has quailfied for 4 Nationals. Beside being a great competitor he is very affectionate and makes a great pet!

Dam: Goose Down's Morning Surprise, "Leah," OFA LR-112699G34F-PI (FC-AFC Calumet's Sonic Boom X FC-AFC Scan's In The Nick of Time). Nicki is a National Open Finalist and is the dam of 5 Field Champion or Amateur Field Champions. Leah is a full sister to FC-AFC Calumet's Super Sonic, the sire of the 2004 High Point Derby Dog.

There are 2 things that strike me about this litter that lead me to describe it as "outstanding." First of all, all 8 of the pups are very sociable. It's not uncommon with a litter that 1 or 2 pups hang back and keep to themselves a little bit. But not with this litter, they all come running and want attention!

Second, all 8 pups confidently carry a duck wing at 6 1/2 weeks old!

Both the sire and the dam are on the smaller side; the sire is 60-65 pounds and the dam is 50-55 pounds. So, it's reasonable to expect that these pups will not grow into huge dogs. If you like a dog that doesn't bring in half the lake when it climbs into the boat then one of these pups is an excellent prospect for you!

These pups are well socialized. Their dew claws have been removed; they've been wormed and have had their first shots. They come with a written 28 month hip and eye guarantee.
