Keeps my pup out of the water

Summary:I have a 3 year old dog who loves to play with water. Be it the garden sprinkler or a nearby pool, there’s no keeping her out. My wife and I will be transferring to another state due to work exigency and our new home is just a few yards away from a lake. So I decided to train my dog first before we finally move to our new place. I wouldn’t want her swimming in the lake all day long. I was amazed by how effective the collar was. The training was just brief and I only had to use the shock twice. After that, the tone was enough for her. After her training, she doesn’t go running off to the pool unless I let her to. The range of the collar is not bad either. And the batteries are performing really well. I have already let her take a swim with the collar on and so far, the unit is still working perfectly. It is also very easy to use even though I’m just new at using an electronic collar.
Pros:Effective, Best batteries
Excellent SportDog collar

Summary:It has been 2 months of using this collar and I am very happy with my purchase. My very stubborn dog has quickly learned how to obey every command I give to him. The first few training days, I used the 2nd level of stimulation then I eventually reduced it to the lowest setting. Now, I only use the tone feature and he still obeys me. There are actually a lot of features on the collar but I haven’t explored all of them yet. I also haven’t tested how far its effective range is. It is waterproof. We have used it in the rain and we didn’t encounter any problems with the collar after that. The batteries hold charge pretty well. I can use the collar for 2 straight days with minimal correction. I suggest that you read first the instructions before even starting to use the collar. You wouldn’t want to end up hurting your dog just because you did not follow the instructions properly.
Pros:Levels of stimulation, Effective range, Best Batteries
Good choice

Summary:After doing extensive reading about how dog collars work and reading about reviews on several types of collars, I finally picked the SD-425. Our Rottweiler has been responding to it very well even during the first day of training. I’m so happy with it. I love the functionality of the collar. You get to choose what feature to use that will suit your dog. For my dog, all we have to do is press the tone button and she obeys whatever command I tell her. We are still on our first few weeks of training she still has a lot of learning to do but this collar has certainly helped us a lot.
Pros:Good functionality

Summary:This product has been effective on my dog. We have previously used an invisible dog fence on a previous dog but this just doesn’t work on our new one. So we decided to try a dog collar. I’m happy that they incorporated a tone and vibrate feature on this collar. As much as possible, I don’t want to shock my dog. Good thing he responds well to the tone. He immediately comes running back whenever he hears the tone.
Pros:Effective Product, Different Features

Summary:I have no problems with how the collar works. Actually, it does work. I was able to train my dog using it. But I think they could have done better with the construction of the unit. This collar is not cheap so I was expecting a lot better durability. But that was not the case. We were taking a walk when my dog made a sudden movement and the collar got torn off of his neck. We were only using it for a few months and it gave way just like that. That’s money down the drain.
Pros:Working Well
Cons:Not durable
