Summary:I bought the Dogtra 2300NCP about 7 months ago. It worked well for 2 months then it just suddenly stopped working. At first, the transmitter would intermittently switch off. I let it cool off for a few minutes then switch it back on again and it starts working again. Then after a few days, it stopped working entirely. I contacted customer service to have it fixed. After two weeks, they sent it back. It worked for 3 days then stopped working again. It was infuriating. I spent money on this collar and I want my money’s worth. I should get a good quality product and good customer support. I’m really disappointed.

Poor batteries

Summary:I loved this product at first since it was working well with my dog. However, after about a month, the battery on the transmitter was showing signs of losing charge. We usually go out in the woods so it was quite a big problem when the battery suddenly dies out when we are out there. Then finally, the battery would not take charge completely. I had it returned and requested for a replacement. They gladly replaced it and I was really hoping for better performance thinking that I just got a defective battery the first time I got one. But I was wrong. The second one was even worse. After about 2 weeks, the battery would not even hold charge. I guess I will request for a replacement AGAIN. It’s really frustrating. I’m seriously considering buying a new collar but I don’t want to spend money on that again. Oh well, too bad for me. I’m not recommending this collar. The batteries don’t last long.
