Should have bought this a long time ago

Summary:Before using this collar, I tried stopping my dog from barking too much using a citronella collar. I thought it was a gentler solution to my pressing problem. But it didn’t do anything to my dog. She still kept on barking and barking. He barked at other dogs, cars, people, birds, etc. She learned that if she barked a lot, she would eventually consume all the citronella in her collar and she would be again free to bark as long as she wants. The SportDog 10R collar is nothing compared to the previous collar I used. This one worked instantly. I was able to see positive results even during the first day. Now, we hardly put it on our dog since she no longer barks too much. We only let her wear it if we take her outside just to be cautious. She might see something that can get her too excited for her to resist barking hysterically again.

Wow!

Summary:I give this product two thumbs up! Everything has been going great. It has only been a week since this was delivered to our house but the results are significant. I use this on my 2 year old Border Collie and he has been the most obedient dog in the world. I was about to give up on him (I was thinking of giving her to my brother who was leaving in the country) when I finally decided to give this bark collar a shot. I was hesitant at first because of the shock that you have to give your dog. But when I tested it on myself, it wasn’t really painful. Of course, I read a lot about dog collars and a lot of the materials I’ve read are saying that these collars do not harm your dog. It was the best decision I have ever made. Now my dog doesn’t bark too much and he immediately comes to my side when I call him. The collar is also waterproof but I haven’t actually tested it yet. I highly recommend this collar.

Summary:I wasn’t really going to use a bark collar on my dog but I had no choice. My landlord was already giving me an ultimatum. If I don’t keep my dog quiet then I would have to find a new place to stay. I usually leave my dog alone all day since I have to work. The problem is, when he is alone, he usually barks a lot. I guess he just wants someone to be with him all the time. I finally received this collar 3 days ago and I’m happy with my decision. Although I felt I slightly guilty for having to shock him but I was really trapped. Thank God one shock was all it took to keep him quiet. I wouldn’t want to use the shock on him again if possible. I’m still keeping the collar around him just to be sure. But as much as possible, I will not use the stimulation on him again.

No more problems with the neighbor’s dog

Summary:My dog just loves to bark at our neighbor’s dog or at just about anything! Sometimes I think she even barks at nothing. She barks just because she wants to. No matter what I say to her, she still doesn’t stop barking. It was as if she had a mind of her. She was totally out of my control. One time, we went to attend a party and we left her alone at home. When we came back home, our neighbor greeted us with a frown since our dog was barking all day long. It was really embarrassing. This collar finally stopped this nasty habit of hers. One zap was all it took. I tried the collar on wrist first and it was more of a discomfort rather than painful. I am definitely recommending this product to some of my friends with dogs. It’s also great that this runs on rechargeable batteries. At least I don’t have to frequently go to the store just to buy batteries.

Beware, not waterproof

Summary:This product is really effective when it comes to stopping your dog from barking. The features are also great and the batteries perform well. It also comes with rechargeable batteries which I prefer over regular batteries. Based on this, I would still recommend this collar. It really works. However, don’t be too complacent about it being waterproof. Based on my experience, it’s not. The water was still able to seep into the unit. I tried drying it and tested it after a full day of drying. It worked for a while but it eventually stopped working. I guess the water destroyed the internal circuitry of the product. I hope they will fix this problem. The collar has a lot of great features. You can buy this but be sure not to get it wet.
