I have a 5 yr old GSP Male that is solid liver. He is a fantastic hunting dog with a huge drive and great nose. I adopted him at the age of 1 and do not have any papers on his AKC status. The previous owners said he was, but could not find the registration. In addition to being a great field dog, he is just as adequate and docile in the home and spends most days napping on the couch.

I am looking for someone who would like to breed a litter of great hunting dogs that are not as concerned with AKC status, but more interested in the quality of companion and hunting ability.

Last hunting season, he suffered a traumatic injury, through no fault of his own, that limits his ability to hunt the way he used to and I would really like to continue his legacy. Instead of financial consideration, I am looking to adopt choice of female from the litter. May also have a couple additional people lined up to buy pups that have hunted with him and know his ability and nature.

Looking to do this January / February post hunting season.
