Tremendous pedigree with over a dozen National Champions and Master Hunters. Grandsire (1996 NFC-AFC Storm's Riptide Star) is the only chocolate lab to ever win the National Championship. Dam's pedigree is from 1990-1992 NFC Candlewood's Super Tanker.
Hydro earned his UKC Hunting Retriever (HR) title at just 23 months old and earned his Hunter Retriever Championship Title (HRCH) in four straight passes. He is 100% amateur trained and handled. I've only been able to run him in 10 hunt tests and he has done a tremendous job in all of them. I'm too busy hunting!!

Hydro is 85 lbs of solid muscle and desire. He is an extremely handsome lab with a nice blocky head, broad shoulders and narrow waist. He has outstanding marking skills and runs blinds with equal zeal and speed. He handles like a dream and has been a pleasure to train. His athleticism and tractability is admired by everyone who has ever watched him work. The tougher the cover the more he likes it.

He is a pleasure in the house, great with kids, super in the duck blind and in the field. He has a great disposition and has passed his desire, great-looks, athleticism and attitude along to all of the puppies he has sired. He has retrieved thousands of wild killed waterfowl in his short career and is a dream dog in the field. This dog HUNTS!
