I have a wonderful hunting dog from excellent lines. She is 2 1/2 years old. She has been professionally trained in spurts for over 1 year by a renowned trainer. She underwent NAVHDA testing as a puppy. Unfortunately she failed that because she did not go into the water. She received perfect scores for desire, pointing, search etc. She now swims like a duck (the day she tested was in early spring in upstate NY and the water was cold but she is over that fear completely). She retrieves, whoas, comes, sits. She is steady to point, flush and shot. She retrieves quail, chukar, and pheasant on command. To watch her hunt the woods for wild grouse is a thing of beauty. Her temperment, conformity has been judged to be excellent. No barking problem. Loves children. Never aggressive with other dogs. No health problems.
I love this animal dearly but will give her away cheaply to a hunter preferably with a family who can really let her do what she loves to do.....hunt..OFTEN!. (she is worth several thousand dollars)
I am working 6 days a week and have no time to take her hunting which is killing me but I feel its unfair to keep her kenneled all day. If you are interested I will send a pic. I have an e-collar, bird launchers, and lots of other items that you can have too.Thank you
