Gunney is liver/white, heavily ticked and spotted- field bred 2 year old intact male
CLEARANCES.....Hips good, elbows normal, shoulders normal, brucellosis negative.
Has been shown in UKC conformation and is pointed with 85 pts and a competition win.
He could be finished in UKC but in my opinion lacks rear angles to show in AKC.
Has started obedience, likes birds but is fairly laid back in general.
He is very clean in the kennel, quiet in the crate and like to play with the females.
May make nice casual hunting dog or family/childs companion. He has been around cats and other dogs and does well but I would not trust him unattended as when he came to us he had been chain kept and beat up severely by neighboring dogs and can be defensive.
He is not housebroke at this time.

Gunney was a rescue that came to use in grave condition and has since been treated for heartworms, hookworms and giardia as well as significant puncture wounds on face, neck and legs. He has been treated for heartworms with Ivermectin which is much easier orn other organs than standard hospital treatment. We have had wonderful results, with the vets guidance, in ridding the rescue dogs of heartworms in this way with no additional long term affects! We will test him as a follow-up before leaving. He now has great potential weither it be a family home or light hunting home. He does not have formal field training.

For this price, which is recovering some of our medical expenses and is all we ask.... I would like a local home in Texas or for someone to pick him up as my training schedule make airport trips a litte tough right now.
