I have two female pointers that are about 2 years old. They were hunted last year between 20 and 30 days on wild oklahoma quail and Kansas pheasants.
Josie- Is a lemon female with a black nose, she runs a crisp pattern at about 100-130 yards. She hits her birds hard and holds well. She is a nice retriever with a soft mouth. Josie was hunted about 30 days last season. She is steady to wing and shot, gunbroke, collar broke, whoa broke in the field, handles very easy and runs with a high cracking tail. Nice pup out of CH ELhew Snakefoot on top and Addition's GO Boy on bottom as grand sires.
Happy- Is a Dna bred Miller's Chief and Millers White Powder pup. Happy was hunted about 25 days last year. She has an orange marked head with some color to her. She is super intense and is a nice easy to handle gundog. She will run about 100 yards and is super snappy on the ground. Happy is holding her birds, retrieving and has a tremendous nose. She is a great dead bird dog. She is whoa broke, gun broke, here broke, collar conditioned. I have some pics on my site for Chief's Kennel. Prices are for pickup at kennel.
