Shocks Space Ghost (Ghost) is a 5 1/2 yr old fully finished intact German Wirehaired Pointer. He has a NAVHDA NA Pr I at 7 months, would excell in NSTRA or with a little steadiness work run in NAVHDA UT. He has been hunted in the western states as a guide dog and pup trainer on wild birds and also on our shooting preserve. When not guiding we go hunting for sharptail, chukar, huns, pheasant, ducks and geese, in North Central MT. He will sit quietly with you in the blind and watch for ducks and geese, and sneak a pond at your side. He can do multiples in the water, and on land. He is collar conditioned, force fetched, whistle broke, loads in the truck and trailer, steady to wing and shot, quiet in the kennel, good in the house. He will search extensively for a wounded or dead bird on command, "Dead Bird", land or water. Ghost has hunted multiple days in a row and stood up to the grind. He loves to go with us doing chores, or just riding in the back seat as a truck buddy. He would make a fantastic first dog for someone new to upland and or waterfowl, just put him on the ground and walk to him on point, shoot the bird and his retrieves are back to hand every time.
