Description:

Indigo is a good-natured black and white english setter with a stylish point. He doesn't range far enough and wants to check in too often to make a field trial dog so we are looking to find him a hunting buddy.

He is a year and 9 months old, approximately 50 to 55 pounds. He has a fluid stride and very handsome point. He is very steady on his birds until flush. We have not formally force-broke him but have played with retrieving since he was a pup and he does pick up shot birds and bring them at least part way back.

He is a soft dog and it doesn't take much effort to correct or direct him. He has been a kennel dog and keeps his area very neat except for water dribbles after drinking. He is a sweetheart who is looking to be someone's buddy.

Indy has been trained with pigeons, quail and chuckers and has been hunted on grouse, woodcock, pheasant and sharp-tails. He travels well.
