Description:

The sire of these puppies, Cody Cut A Lean Grade “Grady”, really needs no introduction. He is atop the elite class of field trial champions. The best of the best in this thoroughbred, field trial Labrador world! He is the NAFC from 2011, was the high point derby dog in 2008 and has qualified for 11 nationals. He has a long list of other impressive accomplishments. For additional information about his impressive career to date, please visit Grady’s website @ http://www.paddlecreekretrievers.com/grady.htm Not only does Grady have a pedigree ( http://gooddoginfo.com/gdc/Asp/viewPedigree.asp?DogNo=75118 ) to back that performance up, but he is also an established producer of exceptional offspring. One of the more notable sons Grady has sired is the 2012 NAFC, Paddle Creek's Pack Your Grip "Traveler". It is notable that the most recent NAFC Champion two years running were Grady and his oldest son, Traveler.

On the Dam side, Gunstock’s Ms. Emily Light Foot “Emmy” can be best described as hard charging, athletic and very intelligent. She is out of Charlie and Yvonne Hayes’ Kennel and has been trained by Danny Farmer. She is an extraordinarily fast and agile 54 pounds of solid muscle and desire. She has an equally stacked pedigree ( http://www.gooddoginfo.com/gdc/asp/viewPedigree.asp?DogNo=104881 ). We thought about changing her name to ‘Sharpie’ because she is such an exceptional marker! Emmy is an absolutely focused, but controllable, beast in the field and a loving family dog in the home. Grady has exactly the same temperament. These are going to be some amazing pups!

This litter’s pedigree speaks for itself. If you analyze Grady, Emmy and their respective 5-generation pedigrees, it becomes evident that these puppies are truly genetically superior. There are a total of 126 ancestor locations on that pedigree. 37 of the 126 ancestor spots (29.4%) are occupied by animals that have already been inducted into the Retriever Field Trial Hall of Fame. Additional information on the Hall of Fame website ( http://www.birddogfoundation.com/retriever_field_trial_hall_of_fa.htm ). Notice that blood from many of the Retriever Field Trial Hall of Fame dogs such as San Joaquin Honcho (6 times), Ebonstar Lean Mac (2 times) Snake Eyes Double or Nothin’ (2 times), Trumarc’s Raider (2 times) and Trumarc’s Zip Code (2 times) show up multiple times on this all-star pedigree. Other notable Field Trial Hall of Fame ancestors include Super Chief, Candlewood’s Tanks-A-Lot, Candlewood’s Super Tanker, Aces High III, Fast Willie, Hattie McBunn and Charlemagne. Frankly, there are too many to list! 28 of the 126 ancestor spots (22.2%) are occupied by animals that are National Champions. Many of these 28 spots are occupied by animals that have won National Championships on multiple occasions. There is a combined total of 33 separate NFC / NAFC / CNFC / CNAFC / NDC titles found in this pedigree. Titled animals, including QAA animals, occupy 83 of the 126 (65.9%) ancestor spots.
