These pups are now 11 weeks old and ready for a home. Each is eager for individual attention, making this is the perfect time to bond with them and start their training. We have 5 left, 4 boys and a girl. The Sire (Kaiser Wilhelm) is out of a German Wirehaired Pointer and a German Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. Bitch (Heidi Houndin) is out of a Drathaar and a German Wirehaired Pointer (AKC). These pups are not registered, but can be with National Sporting Dog registries. Dew claws out, tails docked, wormed and up to date on shots. One of the Sire's litter mates is currently working with a local search and rescue. My female, and the male, both love to go horseback riding. They are versatile, while their hunt instinct is always there. Neither of our dogs have extensive training, you would never know it when they are hunting. In speaking to others who have GWP's all agree, "Once you go Wirehaired, you never go back."
