Rockwood Kennels is proud too announce the arrival of seven beautiful Vizsla puppies. They were whelped on June 23rd, 4 females and three males. All are very strong and active, and carry a proud high tail. These pups are out of Rockwoods Hurry Murray Milli {Milli} and Red Neck Title Town {Nutsy} . Both Sire and Dam are used for foot hunting Pheasants and Sharptail and Huns and also Ruffed Grouse. Both have great use of nose and are very biddable. Both have a nice high tail and look very good on their birds. This is Milli`s second litter and she throws very nice pups. The last litter is outstanding and this one I expect to be even better.
Both dogs also trial in the off season and are Wide Shooting dogs. Both dogs had very successful puppy/derby careers. Both dogs are very competitive in any All Breed trial, be it AKC or AF. Nutsie`s brother is the number 1 Derby Vizsla in the country with over or near 200 dogs over the second place dog. This dog "Tex" also won the NVA Nat. Derby Classic two times just as his Sire did. His pedigree is second to none. These dogs can cover some ground and always hunting.
Both dogs are here at the kennel and can be seen any time. No health issues, OFA,DNA, reg. AKC and AF. Both dogs are mentally stable and can be handled by anyone.
If you are looking for a High Class Bird dog these pups will pay the bill. They are very well socialized, have been introduced to water, are crate trained at 5 weeks, and will not suffer form a lack of desire to work. They will succeed as a foot hunter, horseback trial dog or NAVHDA. We are the only Vizsla Kennel to ever receive a NAVHDA Utility Breeders Award. Video is available if you request.
I have three pups too sell, four were spoken for before they were whelped. I have two males and one female left. This is a very uniform litter, no runts or oddballs. The most common comment for anyone who sees them is "they are all the same!" Yes they are.
Pups will be ready for their new homes on or about Aug 18th. Trial or Hunting homes only please.
