AKC Bloodhounds. Sired by Ranger Duke, of Brighton/Boxford lines. Black and tan, (standard) large in size at about 130lbs and of a good, solid build. Dam is Chestnut Savannah, a red bloodhound, who is of medium size (about 100lbs) and a more streamlined build. She comes from Winchester Patrolman and Hounds Ears lines. Both dogs have been raised with small children and socialized very well. Both are in exc. health and I will guarantee the health of all pups for up to 45 days. Refunds will be given if a vet certifies the pup has any genetic impairment. We own both sire and dam and have raised them since they were pups. We show them at local shows and enjoy hiking and tracking with them. The NC DOC has had success with pups we have donated to them over the past and we look forward to donating one from this litter, as well. These dogs can be trained easily if you know how to do it. Our female is a strong (willed) tracker and usually cannot be tricked off a trail. She is extremely strong and will not back away from anything; deer, coons, possum, turkeys, etc. The male is simply a beautiful, large dog with great coloring and a stereotypical bloodhound disposition. We love these dogs, we feel they are great animals and would do wonderfully in just about any home, although I would suggest some form of fenced area until you have them yard trained, due to their “nose down and gone” characteristic. I can answer any questions you may have and send pictures as I get new ones. These pups will be ready to go by Wed., October 8th and will be current on worming and 1st vacc. You will receive a copy of their pedigree and their full AKC papers. To reserve one you must send in a deposit in the form of a check or M/O for $150. $75 will be refundable if you have to cancel for any reason. Final payment of $300 MUST BE MADE IN CASH!
