Three black females left! The sire is Hi-Test Pass the Ammo, SH, HRCh, a Hunting Retriever Champion with 300 HRC points, yellow male from South Dakota. He needs just a couple of passes for his Master Hunter title. Ammo is 75 pounds of solid muscle, a dynamo in the water and a force on pheasants and upland game. Ammo is yellow and also factored chocolate. He's a great-looking dog with a nice square head and a great attitude. Pistol Annie is the dam, from Trieven Kennels Twist & Shout pointing Lab bloodlines, with Lean Mac in the background. Sire, dam, and grandsire all point. Annie is black and all 9 of her pups are black. She weighs 55 pounds. She's very athletic and LOVES to hunt upland birds, but she's all business in the duck blind, too. Last January she was hauling ducks out of the North Fork River in 5-degree weather.

Annie has an HRC "Started" title and both sire and dam have clearances on CNM, EIC, CERF, and "Good" OFA hips & elbows. We hunt our dogs on blue grouse at 11,000 feet in the Colorado high country. We like dogs with great stamina, lots of athleticism, and biddable attitudes.
These dams are super nice dogs--easy to train, great companions, and enthusiastic retrievers.
