We were so impressed with the sire, Prairie's Edge Tippy, and his accomplishments that we drove our female, Sunday, from Montana to Wisconsin to have her bred. A 30-hour round trip and then we had to go back for her once she was bred. But the pups should be worth it.

This is the only litter we are producing this year through Ridgeday Kennels of Montana. We've been in this business for the last 12 years and are a reliable and proven kennel. We are not a puppy mill. Sire -- NAFC NAGDC FC AFC Prairie's Edge Tippy -- *2009 - wins the GSPCA NAFC title!!

Tippy is ranked #1 in the GSPCA in the Amateur Gun Dog through 2009. He is also ranked #6 in the NGSPA in the Amateur Gun Dog through 2007. He won the National Amateur Gun Dog Championship in the spring of 2008 in Missouri to add a third title to his name. Tippy has over 30+ placements out of 50+ trials, and has only been birdless twice.

Tippy has great confirmation with dual potential. He is OFA excellent.

Tippy is an honest shooting dog. Tippy will stare down a bird with great intensity and stand it all day. He field trials, hunts wild birds, and is a great house dog all at the same time.

Tippy is a great grandson of the great DC Hillhaven's Hustler. Tippy's dam is a littermate to NAFC FC AFC Cebourns Shake Rattle N Roll, A.K.A. "Roller". Other notable names include: DC AFC Cebourns Erick of Hustleberg JH, Wendy Vom Enzstrand, FC AFC Pipelines Bobtailed Bandit, FC AFC P W's Abby Lane, DC Kurzhaar's Ruger V Haven SH, and his sire C. Hillshustler Halle's Yogi.

Dam -- Ridgeday's Slick Sunday. Sunday is the granddaughter of FC Rincon's Slick Willy, FC Bonnies Kamikaze Rio, FC Jack's Flashdance Crystal and FC Huenenbrink's Daisy. Her bloodlines and genetics are solid champions.

Sunday is a balls-to-the-wall GSP with great conformation, a beautiful solid liver head and heavy ticking. She has wonderful prey drive, is a reliable bird finder, steady on point and a good retriever. Loves the water. We hunt her extensively on wild birds. This is her second litter. Her first litter produced excellent bird dogs with great natural pointing and retrieving instincts. We've field trialed Sunday on a limited basis and she is showing excellent promise in the NSTRA trialing format. Her hips are rated OFA good.

Sunday is both a steady hunting dog and a good house companion. The combination of these two dogs should produce the walk-behind hunting dog or field trialing dog that you are looking for.

After the litter is born, we post pictures of the pups on our website each week so you can see how the pups are developing. We encourage folks to visit our kennel, but if you live too far away, we work with you through these pictures and email/phone to assist you in selecting your pup.

We also work with you on delivery of your pup. If you are from out-of-state and are flying to Montana, you can fly into either Billings, Montana, or Miles City, Montana. If you fly into Billings, we will bring the pup to the airport and you can carry it with you as carry-on luggage on the trip back. The pup will ride in a carrier under the seat in front of you, but you can take the pup out and hold him. We can also ship pups but prefer not to unless that's the only way you can pick her up.
