The Dam (Dark Red) is a lean 56lb with incredible stamina who marks VERY well. I ran hunt tests and hunting competitions with Candlewood dogs in the past and she is ALL of that. (No time to run her due to family) Her bloodline consists of SHDWMTN HUNTERS GNTLMEN JACK, SAUK RIVER’S FEATHERSTORM, RIK’s RISKY RAIDER and multiple Kellogg dogs. She points sitting birds and flushes running birds. Hard hunter! Great with small kids.


Stud (Dark RED) 85lb in the picture “BIG-BLOCK” is from a litter we had which consisted of a line that I have personally hunted over for 20 years. The dogs were high energy hunters while being good house dogs. That line included WILDERNESS HARLEY TO GO, JW’S RAGING APACHE SIOUX, and many other CANDELWOOD dogs crossed with calmer lines which include dogs from the Sandylands, Muskelunge, and Lockerbie lines which appear in the History of Labs III. The puppies have their dew claws removed and up to date on their shots. They have been introduced to feathers, water, tall grass, scents, sounds, and kids. We will have started the process of training the pups come, find the bird, and “go bathroom” on command when pup leaves at 7 weeks.
