I have specifically chosen Luke for this breeding because of his outstanding qualities. Through training, testing, and personal interaction with Luke, I have witnessed his intense pointing instinct, steadiness, drive, conformation, and fun-loving temperament, as his titles well demonstrate.
Luke excels in any hunting situation he faces and is a perfect compliment to Brie and her abilities. Brie has desire and drive like few others, an eagerness to please, great retrieving instincts, and a strong sense of smell, and has been complimented on her precise abilities in the field. These two have run multiple times in the field as brace mates in AKC Master Hunt tests and have received high compliments and scores from the judges. Although Brie has only one leg of her Master Hunter title, it came while running with Luke in a memorable brace run last spring. Both are exceptional bird dogs and have the perfect family attitude. Neither can get enough in the field, in the blind, or next to you in the house.
Luke and Brie truly exhibit the versatility, temperament, and trainability that the German Shorthair breed is known for. They have a great willingness to please and the drive and desire to tire any handler that goes afield.
I am very excited about this breeding and the versatility these two will pass on. In my eyes, they will produce the perfect pups. It is my wish that all pups resulting from this breeding are run in NAVHDA and AKC testing, and that they go to families who will religiously hunt with them and care for them.
