How to Switch Modes of Operation for the SportDOG NoBark 10R





There are 3 modes of operation for the NoBark 10R. The light color and display combination will tell you what mode is currently active.  Refer to the table below to learn about the 3 modes and how they are shown on the display.

Overview of the NoBark 10R Operating Modes

Light is Blue with a number display which indicates active level of correction

Important: When using the user-defined mode, remember to begin at the minimum correction level (Level 0). Observe first your dog’s reaction before going to a higher level if necessary.

Important: By default, the level of correction is switched to zero every time you alter the mode of operation.

You can easily switch the SportDOG No Bark 10R on or off, display the present mode of operation and alter the mode of operation with the use of one push-button.  Refer to the table below on how you can do all these things.

Function of the Push-Button

Switch on the collar

Press the push-button and release. Do this while the unit is turned off.

Five flashing green lights will be observed and the display will show the present mode of operation as explained on preceding page.

Switch off the collar

Press the push-button. Do this until the display turns blank and you see a red light. Discontinue pressing the push-button.*

A red light will flash and the unit will stop operating.

Show the present mode of operation

Press the push-button. Continue pressing but make sure to release it before 2 seconds is up.

The display will show the present mode of operation as explained on preceding page. The display will also show the condition of the battery.

Alter the functioning mode of operation

1.  Press the push-button and continue for a minimum of five seconds.

2.  Continue pressing the push-button to move to the subsequent modes.

3.  Stop pressing the button if the display shows you the mode that you want to use.

4.  Your newly selected mode will take effect after releasing the button after five seconds.

 5.  Press the button again within five seconds if you release it earlier than needed.

-   Mode will progress and will be shown.

 -   The mode will progress and will be displayed every two seconds.

 -   The display will show the present mode chosen

 -   The unit will restart normal operation using the newly selected mode after the display has flashed 4 times

-   Mode will progress and will continue as explained in Step 2.

 



*You will start changing the operating modes if you keep on pressing the button even if five seconds have already gone by.
