Sledgehammer is a son of, Legendary status and 29x champion in the National Bird Dog Circuit and Hall of Fame and 18x champion in the United Field Trialers' Association, Jackhammer. Jackhammer has sired many Champions and Sledgehammer is proving to follow in his dads footsteps.

His dam, Zeke's Ruby Tuesday of Rose, has produced multiple champions, including UFTA Hall of Fame National Champ Johnson's Kid Pepper. Rose had one of the greatest nose's I have seen on a bird dog. Sledge posses a great nose as well and passes it to his puppies.

Sledge is an excellent natural retriever with wins in Ultimate Air Dog competitions. We have competed with Sledgehammer in UFTA events as well and in Feb. 2013 he made it to the National Finals run off beating out 230 other dogs to get there. He is just a few points away from a UFTA Championship and I foresee that coming in the very near future. I also started working with Sledge to find Shed Antlers and he is doing great at that. Along with these other great qualities Sledge is an excellent hunting companion. He is an excellent traveler and loves trips to the lake to go swimming.

I have a female from a litter that Sledge sired and she is doing fantastic. She had multiple wins in UFTA and BHU before she even turned a year old.
