Rip is a three year old intact dual AKC and UKC registered male Black Labrador Retriever. This dog is very well put together physically and mentally. He has his Started Hunting Retriever Certificate through the HRC hunt test circuits. He is fully e-collar conditioned, obedience trained (come, heel sit, walking heel, place, and kennel), stops on a whistle and understands casting. He is force fetched and fully gunfire neutral. Rip is highly energetic and loves to work but has an off switch when necessary. Great with other dogs and children and will run through a wall to retrieve on land and water. He has experience upland hunting for pheasant and is very familiar with a dove field. The only waterfowl scenarios that he has been exposed to is through the HRC hunt tests, but he did an outstanding job on all tests. He does a great job tracking the gun and marking downed birds. He is ready to go to his forever hunting partner!
