Ruger is a started pup that has been through our puppy headstart program. This is a repeat breeding which we've had a lot of success with over the years. He is ready to hit the ground running this fall and us a great looking pup who has been well socialized! His bloodlines include some of the top pointing lines in the country. We start with puppies at 8 weeks old and build the foundation. A successful future starts with socialization. Whether you're searching for a great family companion, gun dog, or champion retriever, it's important to have a great foundation. We introduce our puppies to many different things including children, other dogs/puppies, the field environment, wings, trips around town, etc... We work with name recognition, wings, water (seasonal), basic obedience, and leash work. He is both crate and house trained and ready and ready to transition to his forever home.
