Ellie is a 3+ year old sweet BLF. She's a bit of a pocket rocket - about 49 pounds and very fast. We got her in late October 2016 as a started dog. For various reasons, she did not hunt that first season. She's been professionally trained and handled - obedience, CCd, FFd and thru the T. Very intelligent and works some hand signals....Unfortunately, we have not hunted as much as expected the last 2 seasons. Ellie has about 75 retrieves under her belt. Steady in the blind.

Ellie is a very sweet and very obedient girl. Soft mouth. Sits on whistle and does an excellent, clean retrieve to your side. Again - she's a pocket rocket. She likes to be alpha...I've never had a dog be as affectionate and lick me, my wife or kids as much as Ellie. However, she does take time to warm to strangers and she'll hang back until she feels comfortable.

I simply don't have the time to work her and it's just not fair to her. Even though she's calm in the house - she simply loves to work. She's too much dog for me and I want to see her with someone who will work her and bring out her potential. She has a ton of potential and LOVES to retrieve. Shell go until she drops.
