We have a handsome Springer pup who is nine months old (born 9/30/14). We have had him since 8 weeks. He is crate trained, does great in the car, travels well, and is great in the field with a strong hunting drive. He is excellent on a leash. We have been working with a trainer/behaviorist for four months one-on-one and have given him great care. We have enjoyed him so much, but need to find a home for him without small children. He has an aggressive streak that surfaces in certain situations and we do not want him to be provoked by one of our little kiddos and get hurt. He has food aggression (not all of the time, but occasionally) and can growl/attempt to bite when being groomed (ie. nails clipped, ears deep cleaned). We know he will make a great fit in a family with much older children, where they know his boundaries. He responds very well to our kids and can be walked, exercised, etc. by them. He would make a great hunting companion. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines. We want to find him a home where he can be loved for many many years.
