Hi, my name is Lucy and I am a purebred beagle. I was purchased in April 2014 by a 13 year-old boy who was very excited to use me as his rabbit dog 5 days of the year but not very excited to take care of me the other 360 days. Therefore, his parents have said that I need to find a new home since I am their 4th dog!!!

I am an intact 10-month-old female, red and white with a darling face, four white socks and white-tipped tail. I am a started rabbit dog and an excellent hunter. I still need to be trained to the sound of nearby gunfire. I weigh 20.4 pounds and had my yearly shots in May 2014 (rabies is scheduled to be done the first week of June). I am also on monthly heartworm pills.

I have a very sweet personality and could also make a good family pet. My family has kept me outdoors so they don’t know for sure if I’m housebroken or not, but I am very smart and a fast learner. I love to be with people, but I am also very good about being on my own and not barking all the time.
