I will be finding a new home for my 7 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. He is in perfect condition and is up to date with all his shots. He has not been professionally trained but he has been professionally hunted with. He has been hunting wild bird since he was 5 month old and have harvested over 100 birds per season. He has been hunted on all type of terrain and has been hunted in the state of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota and North Dakota. I use him to hunt primarily pheasants,sharptail grouse and prairie chicken, but he has been hunted on grouse, chukars, quails and doves. He has tracked and found so many birds that since he turned three, his hunting style have changed completely. Not only does he point birds, he will find them, track them, then run in front of them to keep them from running any further, and will run in circles around the bird until you flush or kick the bird out. He knows the hunting game so well and hunt with so much passion that anyone hunting behind him will be amaze at his ability to find and tell you exactly with the bird is located.

Again he has never been professionally train so he does not have the perfect manner of retrieve. He will aggressively retrieve down birds and will not let them get away but will not deliver to hand. He will come close enough for you to grab the bird.
