ABOUT CODY…..

CODY is a 5 year-old Male GSP, AKC Registered and DNA’d, Intact for Breeding, and is a Proven Producer of Excellent Bird Dogs. He has a Solid Liver Head, Patched and ROAN BODY. He excels in the field, holds point beautifully with a nice 10oclock tail, and retrieves naturally as well. He has a great nose; tracks well, has tireless energy in the field and can hunt with any dog, any breed, male or female.
He has not a mean bone in his body.

TRAINING:
Collar Conditioned, Holds Point, Whoas on Birds, Responds to a Whistle in field, retrieves to hand, loads to kennel or crate, dog box or truck. He has been hunted on wild birds here in Iowa and in Illinois. Including Pheasants, 2 Species of Quail, Chukar Partridge and Hungarian Partridge. He is a great birddog, Medium Range.

In this past Spring 2011, Cody went Back to Back Weekends, 4 for 4, and achieved his
AKC JUNIOR HUNTER TITLE. He is now a titled dog with AKC. On his 1st weekend, he achieved the highest score of any dog/any breed running for the weekend! He’s very talented, great nose, and tons of instinct and desire.

STUD QUALITIES/ BREEDINGS
Cody throws all these same characteristics into his puppies. He’s sired 5 Litters; all have showed incredible bird instinct, pointing instinct, boldness and naturally retrieving quail at 8 weeks old. His pups have his sweet side as well, all very social dogs.
We’ve had the privilege of training some of the pups we’ve sold for clients out of Cody, and they all have the same attributes. Bold, Strong Bird Desire, Birdy, Natural Retrievers, and nice Pointing Instinct. Naturally Quarter and all have amazing Noses.

Generally Cody’s Pups sell for $800 each, he averages 8 per litter. So if the right person purchased him, they could make $4000 their first litter with him.

Cody is a great bird dog, and due to the economy and lack of field time last fall, we’ve decided to sell him to the RIGHT HOME.
We’d like to see him go to a home that HUNTS and does it more than 3 days a year (if you know what I mean). We have seen him run and his potential in the field is incredible.
