Spike is a great hunter and ready for the field. He is a medium range dog that is snappy in the field and will hunt hard all day. This dog is whoa, whistle, and command broke. He retrieves, hunts dead, and honors. Spike has had hundreds of pen-raised and wild birds (quail, chuckers, Hungarian partridge, pheasants) killed over him. He hunts great alone or with other dogs. Spike has been hunted with many different dogs and people on guided hunts. He is great with children and a good companion. He has sired 2 litters and is a proven breeder for any kennel.
