Nicely started male. 11 months old. That has had alot of training done on him. He has been very easy to work with. He is whoa broke, CC, conditioned to whistle, bells and beepers. He works close to medium range never gets too far. Very easy to handle. He has got to be the easiest dog I have ever handled. Starting to retreive naturally. Really strong nose hits his points with intensity. He has been to MI twice hunting grouse and woodcock. Also has hunted pheant quail and chuckers. Very nice breeding also with the Smith line being very close. He is chesnut and white. The only drawback to him is that unfortunately he has a sicklel tail. This however puts him out of the running for a trial dog or serius breeding stud. If however you are looking for a great hunting companion he is one to look at. He is certified with the American Field Publishing Company. The only reason for the sale is that I just don't have the time it takes to train and hunt the dogs that I have. Thanks
