DeCan's Whiskey Lullaby is lovely 2 year old AKC Registered Brittany Female. We call her Abby. Abby is super affectionate, family type Brittany. She has been raised in the home with children and is fully house broke. Abby's sweet, gentle personality ends when she hits the bird field. She turns into an intense bird hunting machine. Abby is fully broke to wing and shot and is force broke to retrieve. She points with intensity and style. She lives to hunt and be with people friends. She is the type of bird dog your friends will marvel at on point--truly. Her bloodlines are extraordinary. Her daddy is DC/AFC Bourbon XIII. Bourbon is the 2005 Purina All-Age Field Trial Dog of the Year. He earned his championship in the field and show ring at an early age and was runner-up in the National Brittany All-Age Championship in 2004. DC/AFC Bourbon XIII also has the distinction of winning the American Brittany Club Prairie Chicken Classic two years running. Abby's daddy is a once in a lifetime Brittany owned by Joseph Jung in Illinois. Bourbon is not only a star on the field trial circuit but he is a companion house dog and personal hunting dog for Joe. DeCan's Whiskey Lullaby (Abby's) mother is Chickimin-Sunnyvale Melody whose father was FC/AFC Mr. Walker. Mr. Walker was a phenomenal bird and field trial dog owned by Bob and Joan Donnell of Washington State. Amazingly, Abby's daddy Bourbon, and mommy Melody, chalk up 7 Dual Champions (Field and Show) and 5 National Brittany Champions to their credit—in only the last two generations! Abby has had 3 heat cycles, but to date has never been bred. Abby has over abundant tear production. At times this causes tears to overflow the lower eye lid and run slightly down her face. We have had her tested by our vet and there is no infection. This does not affect her hunting or hanging around with the family. Abby is mature enough to have puppies. Abby is going to be someone's best friend, and hunting partner, promising to bring years of joy both in the field and around the hearth.
