16 month old male that is finished and ready to hunt. He is standing quail to wing and shot, backs, and a good solid natural retriever. He has a choke bore nose and is a good bird finder. He was at our South Texas winter camp last January and he did a good job on wild birds, and hunted last season in Colorado and Kansas on pheasant and quail. He's been worked off foot and off of an ATV. He will be well suited for someone who hunts from a truck or ATV, and also handles very well for the foot hunter. This is a quality young dog that will be an outstanding wild bird dog, and will also have the tools to be a successful walking trial dog. We are shooting quail over him regularly.
There's not to many 15 month old dogs out there with his manners on birds and level of training. With the quality of his breeding and level of training, this is a young dog that will make the most serious upland hunter proud. His confirmation is excellent and he has no bad habits.
