Luna is a two year old Deutsch Drahthaar. She is dark brown and well muscled at 58lbs. Her hips and elbows x-rayed clear (HD Frei). She has been force-fetch trained and has been tested in the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association and Verein Deutsch Drahthaar with the following results:

NAVHDA Natural Ability (NA) Test- 112 Prize I (Perfect score)
VDD VJP (Natural Ability Test) – 62
VDD HZP – 169

Luna has two full hunting seasons behind her with experience hunting in three states for pheasant, Hungarian partridge, sharptail grouse, ducks and chukar partridge. She searches and points well, retrieves to hand and honors. She is collar trained to turn and recall on collar vibration. She retrieves furred game and I’ve started her deer tracking which resulted in the recovery of a hunter killed deer this season. She is a strong retriever from water and hard running. She is not yet steady to wing and shot.

Luna has a short coat which is hard and tight but she will not receive a coat and conformation score until the breed show in May.
